Job: Exotic Vet Position at The Melbourne Rabbit Clinic, Australia
Description: The Melbourne Rabbit Clinic is looking for either a full time or a part time Exotic Veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our friendly team.

We are Australia's first rabbit and guinea pig only clinic situated (in Ferntree Gully) at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. We see both referral and first opinion care and offer a high standard of customer service and veterinary care.

An interest in exotic pets would be beneficial, with the successful applicant having an understanding of husbandry, routine surgery of these two species. Further training will be provided to the successful applicant. An interest in pursuing further education in the exotics field would be beneficial.

We have no after hours requirements and have a 1 in 2/3 weekends' roster.

The expected caseload would be approximately 70% rabbits and 30% guinea pigs.

The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine located in Bothell, WA is looking for an exceptional associate with solid avian/exotic animal experience to fill a rare, full-time opening.

The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine has a brand new, state-of-the-art, 7000 sqft dedicated avian and exotic animal facility. The medicine we are capable of practicing is only limited by your imagination.

We have full medical and surgical offerings, ranging from routine annual examinations to emergency and critical care on an as-needed basis. In addition to being a thriving day practice, we are the only dedicated exotic animal hospital offering 24 hour emergency services in Western Washington. Our case load is approximately 40% Avian/ 30% Reptile/ 30% Exotic Mammal. We treat all types of animals EXCEPT for dogs, cats, horses and cows. There is quite literally never a dull moment in our practice.

Our hospital is equipped with the latest equipment available to exotic animal medicine, including flexible and rigid endoscopy, surgical microscope, full in-house laboratory, high-definition digital radiology with fluoroscopy, digital ultrasonography with doppler, EKG, surgical ventilator, full surgical monitoring, radiosurgical unit and more.

Successful applicants will have completed at least a one year, full-time post graduate avian/exotics internship and will be able to furnish outstanding recommendations. Candidates who have completed an avian/exotics residency or who are board certified will be given preference.

We are located in an affluent suburb approximately 10 miles north of downtown Seattle.
