AEMV Annual Conference and Membership Meeting October 2012

2012 Annual AEMV Conference in conjunction with the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians will be held October 21 through 26, 2012 at the Oakland Marriott City Center in Oakland, California.

20th Annual Exotic Animal Medicine Conference, Cockatiels and Clinical Spiels: Exotic Mammal and Bird Medicine

Description: Highlights of lecture and wet labs include: Diet and Nutritional Considerations of Pet Birds, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Techniques for the Treatment of Rabbit Dental Disease and Approaching Non-Human Primate Medicine in Private Practice.

Student members of the WEZAM Club and their faculty advisors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine have brought together experts in the field of exotic animal care to provide veterinary professionals with current and practical information on the medical care of popular exotic companion animals. All profits from the conference go to support student learning experiences through WEZAM Club activities.
